Polymetrica/Solution/Cold chain monitoring

Cold chain monitoring: the break is wherever the record stops

Cold rooms, goods-in, docks and dispatch under continuous monitoring, with a limit range set for every zone and a record you can hand to an auditor or a customer. Every facility in one view.

What we monitor across the chain

Most losses do not happen in transit. They happen where goods stand still: in a room whose door was left open, or on a dock between two vehicles.

Freezer and chiller roomsEach room with its own limit range and its own history.
Goods-in and dispatchThe areas where pallets stand longest with nobody watching them.
Doors and loading baysHow long a door stayed open, and what that did to the temperature behind it.
Refrigeration plantCondensing units, defrost cycles, faults and run hours.
Backup powerSwitchover to the generator and its actual start, so the record has no gap.
HumidityWhere the product specification sets a humidity range as well as a temperature one.
Buffer and staging zonesCorridors and holding areas that quietly warm a pallet.
Access eventsWho opened a restricted room, and when.

We monitor the fixed links of the chain: facilities, rooms, docks and dispatch. For readings inside a moving vehicle you need a logger that travels with the load. We take those readings in and show them next to ours, but we do not replace them, and we will say so before you buy.

One rejected delivery costs more than the monitoring

Start with the rooms and docks where the chain actually breaks.

How it works in practice

Situation and system response

Situation
What the system does
What you get
A door is left open after a delivery
The temperature in goods-in rises, the duty staff are alerted and the duration is recorded
The pallet is not written off
A customer disputes the condition of a load
The hour-by-hour record shows the conditions in every zone it passed through
Responsibility is settled from data
Mains power fails overnight
Switchover and the generator start are monitored; the sensors keep logging
No gap appears in the record
An audit asks for last quarter
A report for any period exports to XLS or PDF in minutes
Nothing has to be reconstructed by hand

Rollout

From pilot to full coverage

STEP 1

Facility review

We look at what is installed, which parameters are critical and where the losses are today.

At your facility or remote
STEP 2

Pilot on 5-10 points

A gateway, sensors and meters on the riskiest zones. Installed without stopping operations.

A few hours per facility
STEP 3

Dashboards and reports

We draw up the facility plan, set the limits for each point, the alerts and the report formats.

Shaped around your processes
STEP 4

Scaling up

The same kit across the remaining zones and facilities, with a single view for the whole company.

No new approvals needed
Next step

We will map the points where your chain actually breaks

Send us the layout of your rooms, docks and the routes between facilities. We will propose where the sensors go and which limits to set first.

Request a facility review

Just a few lines is enough. We will prepare a preliminary estimate and an equipment list before we talk.

Name and contact are required. Everything else is optional.

Your name, then a comma, then your company. For example: Maria Santos, Acme Foods

An email address such as name@company.com. Or a phone number with the country code, starting with a plus sign, for example +44 20 7123 4567 or +49 30 1234 5678.

Where the facility is, which may not be where you are. It tells us which rules apply and who picks the enquiry up.

For example: 6 cold rooms, two loading bays, a dispatch area, reports for a customer audit

We reply within one business day. We never share your details.

If the security check does not load, or you would rather not use this form, email us at sales@polymetrica.net - it reaches the same team.
